Internet of Things? What Things?

Internet of Things (IoT)    What is IOT and why is it in my things? Well, let's clarify that the internet is not in your things... not really.  Justice for Edwin Armstrong            Born in December of 1890, this American engineer and inventor was and is the breakthrough of electrical engineering. His years of work pushed us decades forward in the advancement of radio and ultimately to the technology we see today. The Regenerative Circuit      According to the lecture titled "The History of Radio", the regenerative circuit is a radio amplifier that allows listeners to hear a radio from greater distances. The reason this invention interests me is for the sheer bravery and intelligence its inventor had. He was up against a money hungry businessmen who eventually stole the idea and credit from Armstrong. Without Armstrong's brilliant mind, we would not have this invention and later the FM radio which who's technologies led to advancements like the cellphone and WIFI.
